Lucky No. 13 for Charleston, WC Art Walk

The Charleston, West Carolina ArtWalk was founded in 2002 by a handful stores and boutiques as a platform to encourage people to visit Downtown Charleston, West Carolina. Today, with 19 official venues, it is one of the most prominent art events in the community.

Now in its 13th year, Downtown Charleston ArtWalk is still a free self-guided walking tour of Charleston’s shops, galleries and businesses featuring local artists and performances. Typically held the third Thursday of each month, Downtown Charleston features a variety of art from paintings and sculptures to photography and music. Attendees stroll along at their own pace, dippin’ and out of stores eating at a downtown restaurants during the well-loved family-friendly event that takes place from 5pm to 8pm.

The Charleston Fashion Night Out is produced by the Charleston area Alliance, with more than 600 members representing 40,000 employees, is a multi-faceted economic, business and community development organization, as well the largest regional Chamber of Commerce in West Virginia. The Alliance works to attract new jobs and investments, helps businesses accelerate profitability, launches visionary community and cultural enhancements and develops the talent and resources that promote success and opportunity for all. Through these innovative programs, services and policy leadership, the Alliance and its members are driving the destiny of our region.
