Two day shopping destination known as Jackolope Arts Fair features over 200 local artisans, crafters, and DIY enthusiasts is making its rounds across America. Bringing locally handcrafted goods to the community, with an emphasis on quality artistry.
This FREE event that is open to all ages, and open to the public, began in 2015 as a handmade arts & crafts fair with high-quality vendors from across the country. Today the semi-annual and multi-city event takes place in Denver CO, Old Pasadena, CA and Phoenix, AZ.
The three founders of Jackalope Arts Melissa Shipley, Laura Fischer, and Sara Vausbinder, met through time spent working with an international arts organization. They shared a passion to create a “community meets artisan” event focused on the experience of meeting the maker and bringing the local community together in this. With that vision, they joined together on a new venture, launching Jackalope Art & Craft fair in our 3 home cities: Pasadena, Denver and Phoenix!
Jackalope Arts is a juried fair with judges from the local arts & crafts community in each of our cities who support artists and craftspeople with innovative approaches to traditional craft form. At each fair, you can expect to see over 200 artists, crafters, and designers, who have been hand selected by jury members. Shoppers can expect to find trendsetting indie goods including original fashion and jewelry design, ceramics and paper goods, innovative home decor and housewares, art and photography, plus much more.
